Christmas Shopping in London

Fancy doing your Christmas shopping with friends in London but don't want the hassle of using crowded public transport or having to carry your cherished purchases across town as you visit the different shopping areas of the city?

Well, we have the answer, an Executive MPV, a dedicated driver and the freedom to wander across the city as you please!

We'll collect you and your party from your home addresses, whisk you into London and deliver you to your favourite shopping venues, collecting you and your purchases from each location and carrying you on to your next shopping destination.

No need to carry all those Christmas gifts from one store to the next, leave your shopping with your driver and enjoy the freedom of visiting any of the wonderful shopping areas that London has to offer and take advantage of the pre-Christmas sales!

Visit Harrods and Harvey Nicks, pop across to Regent Street, drop into Hamleys, then up to Oxford Street for a wander round Selfridges. Then down to Bond Street or Sloane Street, back over to Kensington and what about visiting the new Westfield Shopping Centre over in White City? We will take you anywhere you wish, for a fully inclusive price, covering town mileage and the Congestion Charge.

We'll look after your shopping for you, while you stop for lunch or make an evening of it, before dropping you and your bargains safely back home.

The cost... £150 for a day's shopping trip (between 0900 and 1800), or £250 for a full day, plus an evening dinner venue (between 0900 and 2359), inclusive of VAT and TFL Congestion Charge.

For a party of 6 that's only £25 to £42 per head!

Travelling to London Party Venues

The Party Season is now upon us, with the run into Christmas creating many opportunites to socialise, eat drink and be merry... but how are you going to get to these wonderful events you're rapidly filling your diary with and, more to the point, how are you going to get home afterwards?

Whether it's a company event, your office party or a social night out with friends, then why rely on public transport or face the hassle of driving to and from the venue yourself. Let Vettura take you to your event, with no worry about finding the venue, parking, or leaving in time to catch the last train home.

We can collect you and your party from your work-place or home, deliver you safely to the venue and be there to collect you again, at whatever time you decide you're ready to go home. Should the party finish before you're ready to call it a night, then we can take you on to wherever you wish and stay with you until you're ready for the night to end.

All our drivers are security checked, our vehicles properly licenced and insured, so you know that you are free to enjoy your night out while staying safe and secure in the knowledge that you'll get home safely.

An evening hire into London, with multiple pickups and drop-offs is a very affordable £150, so for a party of 6 using one of our Executive MPVs that can be as little as £25 per head... that's for a dedicated vehicle and driver, at your disposal for the entire evening and a door-to-door service.

Certainly beats using public transport!

Transfer to London Hotel Venues

Are you attending an event in London this Winter and planning to stay overnight?

Vettura is offering a special London Party Transfer rate of only £140, including VAT and TFL Congestion Charges, for a round-trip journey to and from your hotel, on two separate days.

We'll collect you from home, deliver you to your hotel, then collect you on your return date and deliver you back to your home address, ensuring that your precious party outfit remains uncrushed and with no worries about parking or carrying your overnight luggage on public transport.

This special transfer rate applies to a round-trip journey, home to hotel and return, for up to 6 passengers, and does not have to be spread across consecutive days, so you could even make a weekend of it!

Underground Restaurants

Underground restaurants are the latest trend in eating out. You go to a stranger's house, and they cook dinner for you. In the US they call them supper clubs, in Cuba they're known as paladares but here in the UK they are called underground restaurants.

They are a cross between a restaurant and a dinner party. Like a restaurant, you pay for your meal but, like a dinner party, you are in someone's house, with a regular someone cooking.

It is this recent trend that has also inspired the idea for other 'pop-up' restaurants in London, like The Reindeer and Flash, and has brought to our TVs the recent reality show, Restaurant In My Living Room.

The phenomena of the underground restaurant is not a recent one but, since by their nature they are 'secret', this makes it hard to advertise them in a conventional way, so it's all done by word-of-mouth, mostly via Facebook and Twitter.

Here at Vettura we know of the 2 main London based venues, The Secret Ingredient, in Dalston (open Wednesdays), and The Underground Restaurant, in Kilburn (open Saturdays). We can take you to either underground restaurant venue for £125, incl VAT. So for a party of 6 passengers that's only £21 each or if you know of another venue, let us quote you a price.... but, ssshhh, don't tell everyone!
